Making my work of art better

THIS IS NOT AS EASY AS I THOUGHT I sat down and watched the video once. Wow.. there were lots of mistakes. The first mistake was the music was not playing.   The second mistake was the videos were cut off at random times. The third mistake was the videos were in black and white. While I tried to figure all this out I was stunned. I thought I was done with all of the movie except for my edits. I quickly looked at some YouTube videos and took notes. I watched 5 videos on how to edit your video. As to the music, I thought that I had added it correctly.  I messed with all of the buttons, and I still could not hear it.  I finally went on you tube and typed in 'why can't I hear the music on my i movie?'  That helped. I started trying to fix my issues by deleting and then reinstalling the music and it started to play. I just had to download it and then put it in rather than drag and drop. But, the videos still were not syncing with the music.  Again I went back to you tube and ty

MORE ABOUT THE MAKING OF MY VIDEO When I looked at the video we took, and the video from when I was little on the skateboard, I thought I should get some more video of me skateboarding in the garage. I wanted to continue my recording project with my friend after school because I was starting to worry about getting my project in on time. I texted my friend to see if he would be able to record. Unfortunately he had a huge test the next morning so he couldn't record. I didn't know what to do at that given time.  I got frustrated. I wanted to bag the whole idea. I thought about and realized something I could do about it. I could record the parts on my own if I put my phone like standing up, or in a still position in the garage, or maybe even on the street at the house. While this may not be the best idea I wanted to give it a try. I started to find a place in my house so I could set my phone to make sure it was sturdy. I hit record and I did something to make sure the angle was as

Time to record!

TIME TO RECORD 'KICK PUSH' MUSIC VIDEO THANK YOU LUPE FIASCO   Today I will start the filming process. I will gather all my resources that I need to film. I called my friend to see what time would work for him and he said 3:30 or 4:00. I told him 4:00 would be a great time because the sun is out but it isn't too bright. I drove over to his house and we went to the parking garage where I was about to film. I started to hop on the skateboard just to get a feel for it. We had some trouble with the video software as it was glitching. We had to restart the software and load it back up. We filmed the first shoot which was me in front of the garage. I started to roll away so I tried to stand as still as possible. Then we filmed me rolling to the right of the garage. Unfortunately I fell off my skateboard and had to run and get it. Luckily I wasn't hurt so we tried it again. I rolled to the right and it worked so we kept the second shoot and deleted the first. We then took a

MORE ABOUT HOW I MADE MY MUSIC VIDEO  I started to gather all my equipment. My equipment included my car to get me to scenes, my  skateboard to film, a friend to film me on my skateboard,  my outfit: shorts, crocs,  hoodie, posters, and my I-phone to film. I also checked my skateboard to make sure nothing was wrong with it. One of the wheels had fallen off so I had to glue it back together just for the video shoot; hopefully it will  I went to find my parking garage.  Most of the garages wanted money just to get in!    After driving around for awhile,  I found one in downtown Fort Lauderdale.  It had four floors and it had a roof for parking that was surrounded by office buildings.   I checked with the security guard at the parking garage to make sure it would be ok to film and they would be open.  He told me that if I came on a Sunday afternoon, when the offices were closed, it would be okay but only on the top floor.  That was fine with me, because the light was better and the buildi

Beginnings to my music video

ACTION PLAN FOR MAKING MY MUSIC VIDEO Let's get started!   I already have a head start with my storyboard.  Now I need to take the words on the story board and visualize how I will make the words into images.  The good news is I don't have to write a script!  Lupe Fiasco's music and lyrics take care of that. I will make a list of my props,  get all my props ready and cleaned up so they look good in the film. I will go to the parking garage to see where I can film, make sure it will be open when I want to film, and find what floor looks best in the light at the time I will be filming.  If there are cars I will go to another level. I want there to be no cars because I don't want to hit one, or have one get in the way. I was able to put music into the last film without much trouble, I want to make sure the type of media I will be using will be able to work with the song.   As for costumes, I want to get a green hoodie because it would look cool with my green skateboard. I

My group for the Music Video

Image
PLANNING FOR MY MUSIC VIDEO I thought about how I would make my video.  I was considering whether I should find a group to work with or work by myself.  After considering it for awhile, I decided that  I will be working by myself for this music video project. I choose to work by myself because it is easier for me.  It is hard to get people together when there is so much going on.  Everyone I know has a lot of things going on; sports teams, church, school work, applying for college, stuff like that.  So it's hard to get people together even to see a movie on the weekends. As for me, I am very pressed for time to do the project because I have a lot of commitments. Some of the commitments are band, tennis, marching band, dog walking, homework, and college applications. I know that I will  have trouble making time to meet someone else to do this project. So I decided to go for it on my own. For my music video, I choose the song 'Kick, Push' by Lupe Fiasco.  I have always liked

Introduction to the Music Video

SCRIPT FOR MUSIC VIDEO And this is me, Bond Benson. I was born in Chelney Russia on June 1st 2006, but James Bond is from England. I like sports because I love all the action packed drama.  James Bond loves car chases. And this is James Bond. James Bond likes martinis, shaken not stirred, but Bond Benson like dogs.  They are  amazing and they love you no matter what. He love the breed giant schnauzers because of how playful they are and they love to guard your house. Bond Benson likes music because it uplifts in troubling times and get my mood up. Bond Benson loves playing drums, James Bond likes driving fast. James Bond likes working undercover, but Bond Benson is in two bands.  He is pretty good at it!                                                                                                        Bond Benson likes the genre of jazz because it has math and rhythm and a cool pattern. James Bond likes guns, but Bond Benson likes ice cream; it's a nice treat to cool yourself o
