ROUGH DRAFT OF TITLE DESIGN WORKING TITLE OF FILM "No Clue" TITLE DESIGN FONT Giggery pokery DESIGN Reverse type (black screen with white letters to make it scary) CONTRAST It is important for the audience to read the title and the credits. I think high contrast, the reverse of white type on a black screen will work well. How will the titles enter the screen? Jump In Effect. How will the titles leave the screen? Zoom Out Effect. How long will each title be on the screen? Five Seconds. This might change we are still figuring and testing this out. I want to see the finished product to determine how long the titles need to stay on to be readable, but not to bore the audience.

Planning: Script

ROUGH DRAFT OF SCRIPT  SCENE ONE -  Bedroom: There is music playing and the camera pans across Barry's bedroom. Barry is lying down in his bedroom and hears a strange noise *strange noise* Barry: "What was that?" SCENE TWO Outside: Music is still playing. Barry walks outside in the dark and finds a lifeless body. *lifeless body laying on ground* Barry: "Oh my...?" "What in the world happened?" Barry pulls out his phone and calls 911. *pulls out phone* Barry: "Uh Hello, operator? I found a dead body in my backyard and I don't know where it came from and I don't know what to do."  Please send the police as quick as you can! Police sirens are blaring and Officer Jon arrives at the scene. Officer Jon: "Thank you for calling us. You did the right thing." *Officer examines the body and Barry notices something is off* Barry is looking around and  finds an object that wasn't there before. He is careful not to pick it up because

GETTING READY FOR PRODUCTION

PRODUCTION NOTES AND SCHEDULE FOR MY MYSTERY MOVIE   CAST     By January 31, 2024, I need to have found the following actors:   1. Someone to play the body   2. Someone to play the teenager who is the star of the film   3. Hopefully I can persuade a real cop to help me with the scene where the teen calls the police. If that does not work out I need someone to play the police officer     LOCATIONS   By January 31, 2024, I need to have found these places to film:   1. A 2 story building where I can film the discovery of the body from the second floor.   2. A place where the teenager is looking out a window, gets a look of shock and horror on his face, and realizes that something is wrong.   3. A place where the policeman and the star are looking at the crime scene with a dead body. This would probably be best if it was outside.     FILM SCHEDULE   On February 1, 2024, filming will start with the filming of discovery of the body at the second floor location.   On February 2

TITLE AND OPENING CREDITS FROM THE MOVIE 'NANNY' I used this movie from Art Of the Title Website What titles are displayed during the opening sequence? Name of the Production Studio Title of the Movie In Association With Film By What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? A women lying in bed A girl on her phone looking at something How does the opening sequence of the film make you feel? The opening sequence has me feeling very mysterious. The noises of the strings add a effect of what is gonna happen next. The question I have is "why is she laying in bed". This opening sequence doesn't have a lot of info either so that also makes it weird and mysterious.

FIGURING OUT HOW THE TITLE FOR MY FILM I have been working on how to make the title for my film.  I know that this part is really important.  You want the title to capture someone's attention.  If they don't find the title interesting, they probably won't bother to see my movie.   I went on the  website Art of the Title to get some ideas for the title for my final task.  I like this website as it shows you what needs to be in a title sequence. I also like how everything is formatted nice and easy to find. It has a list of designers and studios which I thought was cool. The website has videos that show you step by step how each title was made. I also like the way it shows you the pictures of each slide. I think that is helpful in seeing how each one is made. I think that this website will help me in making a title sequence for my final task.  I still need to think of a short, interesting title, that gives people a hint of what my movie is about.  I am still thinking!
