WHAT I LEARNED FROM THE 
MYSTERY MOVIE CALLED A HAUNTING IN VENICE

1. What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?
The conventions are a crime, use of a medium who is a person able to talk to dead people and darkness. The movie is a mystery. The whole movie takes place in a haunted house. 

2. What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked?
I liked the haunted house. This add more effect to the overall meaning to the movie. I also liked the use of a medium because this helps create more suspense. I liked all the different characters because it made it interesting.

3. What conventions of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you and you are thinking of not filming for your final task?
There were too many complicated motives. I had trouble following all of those. I also did not like the 
 darkness because it was really dark and I couldn’t see some of the objects.
