Filming Day 1

DIARY OF MY FILM, 'NO CLUE' PART ONE

     Hi everyone! I am back again and today is filming day. I am so excited!

     I have been waiting for this day.  Today is the day the words I put on the page will start to come to life!

     I started looking at my script. The first scene is in the bedroom.  Time to create my scene and get everything ready. 

    I made sure that the lighting in the room was light enough to see everything. I also made sure my room wasn’t a mess. I called my friend to see if he could film me. He said yes, so I quickly got in the car and went to go pick him up. My friend and I got the tripod out and set up so it was at the right angle. My bed had a few books on it so I quickly removed those and got in my bed. A happy thing happened that I didn't even think of - my dog jumped in the bed with me!  My friend and I started laughing and I was going to move her out, but he said, you know what?  Leave Marley in the scene!

    I filmed the first part of the scene, and it went exceptionally well. The only issue is I found some clutter in the background. I cleaned off the desk and removed some books so that nothing was in the way. My friend shot the scene again and this time it came out perfect. I took out my script and the next part was  looking out the window. This was hard because the sun was still up. I don’t want any glare in my shot.  

    I decided to go to a different window and film it there because the one in my bedroom had sunlight. I had some trouble setting up the tripod at the right angle. I took several shots and chose which ones I liked and stuck with those. I figured I would edit this later.  Back to work!
